The town is situated on the spurs of the mountain chain of Mount Meta (2242m) which dominates the whole of the Comino valley. Its extraordinary position will make even the least attentive visitor surrender to its magical atmosphere.
This area of natural beauty offers the tourist a variety of attractions; a 12 km panoramic trail leads to the skiing resort of Prati di Mezzo which is cloaked in a mantle of snow all winter.
